And I realize I’ve been reblogging a lot of stuff from the APP tumblr lately and it’s because I know not all of you follow them, but ALL OF YOU SHOULD. And if you don’t, you’ll see it here anyway half the time. But seriously. Follow them. Now.

Yes, exactly! When I went and got my nipple done, he explained the procedure, warned me that the less relaxed I was the more it would hurt (and it REALLY hurt) and showed me all of the equipment. he explained the whole thing as it was happening and before hand kept me topped up on chocolate biscuits and tea. Same when I got my tattoos done. 

If you live in the South West of England, then the Ink Well in Helston is a great place to get done. They have all their first aid, H&S, and qualifications up to date, and to add to that, as soon as they get training for a new piercing they will test it on themselves (it’s a husband and wife run shop) so they know exactly how uncomfortable the experience is going to be. 

A good bedside manner is one of the things I’ll judge a shop on :)
